Create a Quiz in your Canvas course (New Quizzes are now able to work with the LockDown Browser). From the Course Navigation in Canvas, select Respondus LockDown Browser. If this is the first time selecting it, you will need to authorize the app. The next page will have resources. At the bottom right click Continue to LockDown Browser. Log into Canvas with a regular browser, select the course and navigate to the quiz. If you have not already installed LockDown Browser: Select the link to download the application and follow the installation instructions. If a Canvas test requires that Respondus LockDown Browser be used, you will not be able to take the test with a standard web browser. Respondus LockDown Browser can only be used for taking Canvas tests. Students must download LockDown Browser onto any computer where you will be taking an exam. Once the Respondus LockDown Browser LTI app has been set up in your school's Canvas environment, you should be able to add it to your course navigation by following the steps outlined in this Guide: How do I manage Course Navigation links? For example, my button is called 'LockDown Browser'.
